THE TRIPS WAIVER NEGOTIATIONS AT THE WTO: A REPORTAGE FROM GENEVA HEALTH FILES
Two years ago, on October 2, 2020, South Africa and India brought to the WTO, a proposal that revitalized the conversation around the access to medicines. Now, two years later, we bring you a journalistic chronicle on these discussions.
Our first book [ISBN: 9782970162704] is now available in paperback version. Last month we announced, that we had compiled 50 stories on the TRIPS Waiver discussions into a book. We hope this will prove to be a handy reference for all those interested.
Paperback versions can now be ordered here. Please note that readers in Switzerland, and the European region can order the book at BoD, a Germany-based provider immediately. Readers in Switzerland can also order at Ex Libris here and at BuchHaus here.
Our readers in other countries, outside of Europe, can also subsequently order the book in the coming weeks as it becomes available through partner distributors globally. (Please write to us if you are still unable to order copies of the book in a few weeks, or if you want a copy sooner.)
Updated e-book formats will also come on the market soon [ISBN: 9782970162711].
It has been our every effort to get this on priority for trade negotiators in Geneva, at whose request this book has been compiled. Informal consultations on extending the June Ministerial decision to tests and drugs are already underway.
We have also taken note of the interest for the book from readers. We will make sure that you will be able to access the book soon.
We thank you for your patience. It has been a steep learning curve for us in self publishing this book!
Also see below, a related announcement on a workshop on the same topic later this month.
We appreciate your engagement.
